VDO Architects used large expanses of 8.38 mm SmartGlass Intruderprufe laminated safety glass to flood the showroom with natural light and create an open and contemporary feel—without compromising on safety and security. The strength of SmartGlass Intruderprufe allowed the architects to use bigger glass panels in the shopfront, which has a sloped design that reduces reflections, making it easier to see the cars from outside the showroom.

SmartGlass laminated safety glass has a super-strong PVB interlayer that protects against injuries, keeps intruders out, and keeps noise at bay. It also filters ultraviolet radiation to protect furniture, fabrics and equipment. SmartGlass is available with a range of high performance coatings that eliminate heat and glare, while improving energy efficiency and reducing air-conditioning costs.
