Privacy Glass offers the flexibility of clear and obscure glass all in one product. Switch it on and you’ll see right through it. Turn it off and it inverts to an obscure state - conveniently concealing any space in an instant. Privacy Glass functionality lets you design versatile spaces that open up or conceal only when needed – ensuring the most flexible and effective use of home, retail and commercial real estate.

Advanced [Japanese] technology gives Privacy Glass its functionality. A patented liquid crystal sheet is laminated between two panes of glass. The sheet’s randomly aligned liquid crystal molecules disperse the flow of light, ordinarily obscuring the view. When an electrical current is introduced to the sheet, the liquid crystal molecules immediately align themselves to allow light to pass freely through them, transforming the glass to a clear state.

Privacy Glass can be made to order to standard sizes. Sheets are available in dimensions of up to 1000 x 3000mm. The glass may be tinted on request.
